Let me tell you more about me :)

I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 2013 and have taught students from over 40 different nationalities at all levels from absolute beginner to advanced.

I have taught students in both private language schools and also in the ESOL sector. I primarily teach adults, but I usually teach teenagers in the summer months. I currently work at the Odils Learning Foundation in Plymouth https://odils.com/

I have a lot of experience preparing my students for both ESOL and Functional Skills in the UK at each level from Entry 1 to Level 2.

I love learning about my students' languages and cultures. I can speak a few words in French and Arabic, but I would love to learn more.

My favourite ESOL level to teach is Pre-Entry (absolute beginner) as you can have a lot of fun using realia and helping students to make their first steps into learning English.

It has to be said, one of the best things about my job is trying out my students' food. I regularly get to eat homemade baklava, Brazilian cake, Polish chocolate Kurdish rolls and Bengali curry at my school :)
